Hello, my name is Mariatu B and I am an experienced home carer. With a wealth of knowledge in various care types including live-in, hourly, and overnight, I am dedicated to providing top-quality care for those in need. I have had the privilege of assisting individuals with a range of conditions such as mild cognitive impairment, bedbound patients, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression.
While I am unable to drive or own a car, I possess excellent skills in bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship. These skills allow me to make a real difference in the lives of those in my care. I firmly believe that my attributes of being caring, friendly, and helpful contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment for my clients.
In my free time, I enjoy staying active through walking and dancing. I also have a passion for card games and love to spend time cooking and baking. Additionally, I have a knack for decorating and find it to be a fulfilling creative outlet.
When it comes to pets, I am open to all kinds, including cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. Spending time with animals brings joy and companionship to me and the individuals I care for.
My motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to help people lead independent lives.
